“The presence of those seeking the truth is infinitely to be preferred to the presence of those who think they’ve found it.”
– Sir Terry Pratchett, Monstrous Regiment

Richard is the director of BCPRS and was a cofounder of the team in 2005. He makes a living as a paramedic and clinical educator for a private ambulance service, and teaches new EMTs and paramedics at several academic institutions. Richard has been investigating claims of the paranormal for two decades in both the United Kingdom and the United States. He is a regular guest speaker at conventions in both countries and is busy writing and publishing both fiction and non-fiction books about the paranormal.
Linda moved here in 2013 from Baltimore, Maryland. She’s had a lifelong interest in the paranormal stemming from childhood experiences. She has a technical background, both professionally and as a paranormal investigator (X-ray/Cat Scan Technologist for 14 years). Linda has been actively investigating with her husband for about 8 years since they met on a paranormal investigation. Since then she’s had some great experiences investigating on the East Coast. Life’s twists and turns brought her and her family here to Colorado, and she’s looking forward to new paranormal experiences. Linda’s investigating techniques are more on the “techy” side, and she maintains a very healthy balance of belief and skepticism. She loves to learn, teach, or just talk “paranormal shop.”
Jason grew up in Baltimore and has waited tables and been an EMT, as well as an on-air radio DJ, before becoming a pharmacy tech. His interest in the paranormal began in the 90’s and got serious in 2006 when he established a paranormal investigation group in Baltimore. On this group’s first investigation he met his soon to be wife, Linda.
He believes, but is anchored in skepticism while investigating. Jason is married, has 2 boys, and a small zoo of animals at home.
Catlyn K. has bachelor degrees from Hendrix College in theology and humanities, a master’s degree from the University of Colorado in religious studies, and a Ph.D. from the University of Denver and the Iliff School of Theology in religious and theological Studies. She works as a college professor teaching religious studies, philosophy, and women’s studies. Catlyn joined the team in 2014 because she loves being able to go into neat buildings after dark when everyone is gone. She is also fascinated by fields that push the boundaries of science. Belief in life after death, ghosts, spirits, and other nonphysical entities has been found in all cultures since the beginning of human society on this planet. Capturing evidence of the paranormal expands our understanding of what’s happening in our world.
Anna is a Colorado native with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design and Interactive Media. After working in marketing in Breckenridge, she moved back to the metro area and decided to use her business background to launch her own online retail company. In her free time she enjoys painting, drawing, the outdoors, and travel. She is also passionate about delving into a variety of subjects, including the connections between various spiritual and mythological traditions as they relate to the story of our ancient human history, psychology, politics, and accounts of paranormal phenomena throughout the world. Anna has long been interested in the paranormal due to some of her own unexplainable experiences. Despite having a very open mind, she approaches cases with a balanced and logical methodology. She loves the fascinating places, people and experiences that investigating allows her to encounter.
Seth began his interest in paranormal research while studying theatre at the University of Rhode Island. He could never explain the shadows moving backstage or the footsteps in Prop Storage, but did not have the means or know how to properly investigate the occurrences at the time.
Now working as massage therapist in Boulder, Seth is thrilled to bring an open yet scientific mindset to paranormal investigations. In his spare time, Seth enjoys bicycling, cooking for friends, table-top story-telling games, and volunteering at the local Humane Society.
Charlie S. works full time as a paramedic, part time as a high school teacher, and has been a paranormal investigator since 2013. He got involved in the paranormal first as a tourist enjoying the scares and testing his own personal will. His passion for investigating and doing research brings him to new places beyond his comfort zone. Charlie approaches investigating as a skeptic trying to find reason and logic in the unexplained.
